Brewster EMS Enhances Trauma Treatment Capabilities

Based on research provided by regional tertiary trauma services and the United States Military  to provide the best clinical approach to trauma care delivered in the field Brewster Ambulance Service has deployed the adult and pediatric King supraglottic rescue airway, combat application tourniquet (CAT), Halo occlusive dressings, Mylar wrap, and rapid triage deployment identification. These simple, although lifesaving, devices will quickly address trauma field needs for advanced airway, penetrating chest injuries, extremity hemorrhage and hypothermia.
